ProObserver 2 video control system – a digital hardware and software system, which is installed on the ATMs and serves for the video capture and local archive recording. The part of the system is the software used for integration with the ATM functional software. ProObserver 2 allows creating the security and surveillance system either for one ATM, or for the ATM network

The aim of the given hardware and software system development is to provide the banks with the effective and dependable method of tracing the acts of intrusion and vandalism on the ATMs by making the archives of video information. The system is designed to exclude or reduce the financial losses of the banks due to the illegal acts on the ATMs

Program movement detector:

Video monitoring:

• connection to 4 cameras with the possibility to set the activation time for each camera (according the movement detector, constant record, record by the specified timeout, recording by events);
• flexible settings of any configuration and the image size;
• display of the channels’ condition by the program in the video window and on the switchboard (surveillance/ record/ record by the detector/ signal occurrence);

Video archive:

• files with the video images are stored in the special format on the local hard disc;
• possibility to connect and use the additional hard disc with the enhanced volume for the long-term video archives storage;
• viewing the records frame by frame in the “video” mode with the image speed setting;
• digital frame scaling duplication;
• ability of video information export in the JPEG, AVI and BMP formats;
